to "Haus Hubertus"!
Our
holiday home, situated in beautiful surroundings, sits on a little
ridge on a country road with very little traffic just outside
of Göriach village, Salzburg province, Austria.
The
wooden building, decorated with thousands of shingles on the outside,
has been carefully and lovingly renovated and equipped with modern
amenities and local furniture.
Inside
there is a beautiful holiday apartment for rent. It is completely
equipped for your comfort. Of course, there is linen, towels,
cutlery, pots and pans for you to use.
House
Hubertus stands alone, the perfect quiet place for relaxation
from the city hustle. There is a big garden where you can sit
and lean back, a cherry tree provides shade and fruit.
In
may, this old cherry tree stands in full bloom. While you relax
from venturing into the woods to do mushroom picking or from your
hiking or bicycle trips, it provides cool shade.
In summer you and your kids are very welcome to make good use
of the sweet cherries.
You'll
find a sauna and a drying room in the house. Against a small fee,
you may use the washing machine. And if you like, we will make
sure that there is fresh bread delivered to your doorsteps every
day.
If
you want to make use of the kitchen in your studio, there are
plenty of fresh herbs growing in the garden. They'll give that
extra tantalizing touch to your food!
There
are 5 beds in the apartment available. Additional beds can be
put in, there's plenty of room.
Here
at Göriach, where life is quiet, natural and far away from
hectic stress, your holiday will be a very special one.
Whether
in summer or in winter - you'll always find pristine, intact surroundings
where the water is crystal clear and the air is pure. It's a paradise
for mushroom and berry pickers, who will be certain to come home
with bags of bounty from the nearby woods.
Also
for hiking, Nordic Walking and cycling/mountain biking the location
is perfect: You'll find well-tended forest roads and trails in
sometimes lovely, sometimes rugged surroundings. Extensive woods,
many waterfalls, a didactic exhibition about life and work of
bees and a unique village, consisting only of mountain huts, are
all within easy reach.
In
winter cross-country ski-tracks beckon you to do your rounds in
a wonderful winter wonderland. (access directly in front of our
house), while alpine skiiers find pistes of all difficulty ranges
not far away. Ski mountaineers find plenty of suitable summets
all around.
Those
who are "only" looking for a place to relax and enjoy,
have found the right place, too.
The
next country inn (Gasthof Lacknerhof) is only 700 m away. There
you'll be served tasty regional and international food.
A
bus stop is located 100 m from Haus Hubertus.
Come
and spend a few days with us. We'll do everything we can to make
your stay very comfortable. We'd like you to have a phantastic
time in the southernmost part of Salzburg province and come back
some day!
